  2. Hi,

I am completely onboard. However, where is the proof that MA residents will have to pay for this construction?

Are there some posters I can print for Saturday?

    Thanks,

    -Alex Place

  3. To Whom it May Concern:

I was unaware that they were pushing to build a pipeline in the Boston area. Is there anything I can do to help stop this abomination?

    Sincerely,

    Kari Shaw

  4. Hello, maybe instead of yelling & screaming about how poor West Rox is going to suffer from a pipeline project maybe think about the rest of the state like for example the suburbs west of you that have Algonquin Pipeline running through it so that folks like you already benefit already from cheap gas to your homes & businesses. I live down the street from that pipeline and I’m thinking the higher risk to my life is either a car crash or a terrorist.

For protesters it is the world is always coming to an end. In the meanwhile put your brains to work and stop screaming about lack of cooperation, etc. Sometimes the thing called the internet can provide valuable info like the following study done in respect to W.Rox quarry. If anyone has time they might also go to FERC website. It’s amazing how all those taxes that pay for govt services sometimes actually have useful information. If you are going to protest at least do it from an informed perspective instead of it ‘will put our lives in danger’ and forget that the rest of MA must already be endangered as there are other pipelines coursing thru the state through plenty of dense communities.

  5. How do I sign up for the training this week at Theodore Parker? What time is it? How long is the training? Thanks, Mark

  6. would like info on state house protest on Monday. where and what time will it start?

  7. Trying to reach Derrick at #CancelTheContract. The bit.ly/CancelContract is not working.

He recommended leaving a note here so he can get in touch with me/us on the question of a natural gas boycott.

  8. I am involved with a group in Cincinnati that is attempting to block Duke Energy from building a 30 inch natural gas pipeline. Our website is nopecincy.org.

It seems to me that you are further along in the process and that we can learn from you. Would it be possible to connect, perhaps via Skype, at one of our upcoming planning meetings?

  9. I would very much like to come and support the resistance of the W Roxbury pipeline but I have an erratic schedule and have been away much of the summer.

I keep looking for resistance or protest dates at the pipeline in advance of their occurrence but still haven’t seen that posted. Where can I locate such a list of dates? And/or does such a list exist? At least an alert with a bit of advance notice that would help me plan for it-in general I cannot take time from the 9-5 workday to participate. So evenings and week-ends are my possibilities.

    Thanks for any help.

    Terry

  10. Oops! I just located the protest schedule under vigils. Sorry. The vigils are 8-9 am Monday – Saturday & Monday 6:30 – 7 pm at the construction site on Grove St.

Does this schedule still hold for the autumn season? thanks again and sorry for missing the post before.
