Ben Thompson took action alone today and showed us how to tell the world “I love you” without words. Arrested and charged with trespassing and disturbing the peace, Ben reject the plea deal and is going to trial to beat the charges. His next court date is August 15th. Please support Ben by showing up and tell him that we love him, too.

 

Community Potluck

After Ben’s action, as community, we reflected on the progress, the bonds and the experiences we’ve created together over the last year of building a culture of resistance against Spectra’s West Roxbury Lateral pipeline.

Over 50 people came out, brought a variety of food and drinks, shared, networked, and exchanged stories of their time involved with the campaign.  From everyone at Resist the Pipeline, we hold you in our highest regards as people fighting for justice and a livable planet. Without your commitment to non-violent civil disobedience as the way to move into a sustainable future, this campaign, in the form it has come to be, would be impossible.  Keep fighting. Keep sharing. Share your stories, your motivations, your energies, your time, your resources. Together we are creating a better world.
